On Saturday, April 18, the second phase of our building project at Helping Hands was finished.
Members of River Church, Mtubatuba, led by Martin and Jeanette Harder, worked together to lay brick foundations for the new dormitory building and kitchen extension to be built at the Helping Hands premises.
While the men did all the hard labor of mixing cement and carrying and laying bricks, the ladies took care of tea/coffee and snacks and meals for the day.
The work started as early as 7:00 am and finished at around 4 pm.
It was a very productive day at Helping Hands. We would like to thank all those who took part in this undertaking.
The main structures will be built in June with volunteers from the Netherlands coming to help through Missions4KZN.
