Welcome Message

“History will judge us by the difference we make in the everyday lives of children.”- a quote by Nelson Mandela during a luncheon hosted by United Nations Secretary General Kofi Anan at the special session of the UN for Children in New York City on May 9, 2002.

At Helping Hands, we endeavour to do our share by providing a safe and secure environment where the children can grow and learn, and feel that they are loved and cared for.

We are only able to achieve this through the faithfulness of our loving, heavenly Father, the continuous support of our generous donors, and the volunteers who take part in our activities. For these we are truly grateful.

2015 promises to be another exciting year!

Laying Foundations At Helping Hands

On February 28, Saturday, 9 volunteers from NCF Church in Pietermaritsburg, who are also part of NCMI’s Destiny Team, some members of River Church and volunteers from Missions4KZN, and the youth of Helping Hands boys’ home all got together to lay the foundations for new buildings to be built at the Helping Hands premises.
