Helping Hands Newsletter 2017 #2
"Kids go where there is excitement; they stay where there is love.”
- Zig Ziglar
At Helping Hands, we endeavour to sow love to our kids in everything we do, knowing that more than anything, they need to be assured that they are loved and valued. We are blessed and extremely grateful to all our friends, supporters and donors who share in our passion to sow love and make a difference in the lives of these children.
HH teens to join Youth Camp
Helping Hands endeavours to provide the children in our care opportunities to take part in events where they can grow and learn to interact with other children in their own age group apart from time in school.
With this in mind, our HH teens will be joining the River Church International Camp Entabeni Youth Camp on July 13- 15, 2017.
Registration cost is R40 per participant. If you are interested to sponsor one of our teens for the youth camp, please email us at email@example.com or click here for our banking details. Please use "CampEntabeni" as reference.
Thank you very much in advance!
Vegetable Garden Project
Our vegetable garden project has been going well, thanks to our very dedicated Themba who watches over and teaches the kids how to tend the garden well. We would like to thank Maywood's Nursery for their recent donation of vegetable seeds and seedlings.
You can support this project by donating seeds, seedlings, or garden tools. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We still have some of our children needing sponsorship under our Sponsor-A-Child program.
We are in need of clothing for our boys aged 6, 8 and 10 years old, and our teenage boys aged 14 and 15 years old. We also need warm clothing for our children, and some warm blankets. If you have any children's clothing and winter items to donate, whether used or new, kindly contact us at email@example.com or call us at 035-5501347.
